1) What are cookies and similar technologies?

• Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser.
• Local storage / session storage saves data in your browser for functionality and preferences.
• Pixels / SDKs / tags help measure usage, performance, and campaigns.

2) Why we use them

We use these technologies to:

• Essential operations (sign-in, security, load balancing, fraud prevention).
• Preferences (remember settings like language, cookie choices).
• Analytics (understand usage to improve features).
• Functional / performance (faster load, error logging).
• Advertising/attribution (only if enabled) to measure campaign effectiveness.
• Social media integrations (only if you enable/share).

3) Categories of cookies

• Strictly Necessary – required for the site/app to work. (Consent not required.)
• Functional – remembers choices, improves experience.
• Analytics/Performance – measures usage and helps us improve.
• Advertising/Targeting (if used) – measures/optimizes campaigns and may personalize ads.
• Social Media (if used) – enables sharing and login with platforms.

4) Cookies we use (examples)

• Strictly Necessary: __Host-session (session auth), cf_bm (bot mgmt), cookie_consent (records your choices).
• Functional: app_prefs, theme.
• Analytics: _ga, _gid, _gat (Google Analytics); plausible_ignore (Plausible opt-out).
• Advertising/Attribution (optional): _fbp (Meta), _gcl_au (Google Ads), li_fat_id / li_gc (LinkedIn), ttclid (TikTok).
• Social: __Secure-… tokens set by platforms only when you interact with embeds or log in via OAuth.

5) How we obtain consent

• When you first visit, we display a cookie banner asking for consent for non-essential cookies (e.g., Analytics, Advertising, Social).
• You can Accept all, Reject non-essential, or Customize by category.
• Your choices are stored in cookie_consent (or similar) and honored for 12 months unless you change them or we ask again due to changes.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale/sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising under applicable US laws.

You may also block cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not work.

7) Third-party cookies and transfers
